What is included in a beginner kit?

Most kits contain the exact yarn called for by the pattern, the right hook or needles, and any notions like stitch markers or tapestry needles you will need to finish. The pattern itself is included, written with beginners in mind. Some kits also include extras like project bags or care instructions. If you are choosing between knitting and crochet, we carry kits for both crafts.

Can I use a kit if I have never knit or crocheted before?

Yes. That is exactly who these kits are for. Many are labeled first-project or beginner-friendly and teach just one or two foundational stitches.
