Basic Stitches

1. Chain (ch) — your foundation
2. Single Crochet (sc) — short, tight, sturdy
3. Double Crochet (dc) — tall, fast, drapey
4. Slip Stitch (sl st) — joining and moving

First Project: A Dishcloth

Chain 26. Single crochet across. Chain 1, turn, repeat until square. Done!
